Jervis Bay

Blue Devil Cave
Jervis Bay is home to many Blue Devil fish. Ecosystems are named after the most common or dominant species. I like to think that the ecosystem of Jervis Bay is dominated by Lace Corals or Bryozoans. It is a Lace Coral ecosystem. Many reefs are dominated by Lace Corals, one of the smallest organisms in the sea!. There are many outstanding caves in JB. Some such as the Cathereral cave are geological giants. Plan carefully when entering these spectacular caves. They have claimed many lives.
