Hairy Sea Hare shrimp

Hairy Sea Hare is a very rare and unusual sight. From a distance of more than 30 cms, it looks like weed.
The soft Sea Cucumber, Synapta is home to two commensal Imperial Shrimps. I guess that toxins from the Sea Cucumber help to pretect the shrimps.

The Blue Ring Octopus walks across the sea floor looking for shrimps to eat. It is virtually invisible with its body pattern blending into the dark sand perfectly. I collected some sponge coloured rocks to create a more pleasing background colour.

This a rare type of Aeolid sea slug known as Cerberilla ambonensis..
